One Piece on Wii
Popular animated TV series One Piece: Unlimited Adventure is headed for the Wii. The game has players join characters from the shoiw as they embark on a search for the ultimate treasure in an original quest. It is currently set for release during Q1 2008.
In One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, the motley Straw Hat Pirates find themselves stranded in a mysterious land after a massive island rises to the ocean surface from underneath their pirate ship. Players must assume the role of their favorite One Piece persona and explore this newly formed terrain to uncover the secrets and powers that lie within this isle.
As expected, the game will make use of the console’s motion-sensitive controllers, having players pull, turn and swing to battle baddies as well as move. Besides the single-player storyline mode, there will also be Survival and Vs. modes to unlock, as well as 40 additional playable characters.
