Portal Pre-loading

Can’t wait to play Portal? You’ll still have to wait till next week to play it, but Valve notes that it has already started pre-loading onto your computer via Steam. This will allow purchasers of the game, as well as Half-Life 2 Episode Two and Team Fortress 2, the chance to begin playing as soon as 12.01 am October 10.
It was recently confirmed that The Orange Box – a mega compilation featuring all things Half-Life as well as two other games – had gone gold. The pre-load for Episode Two is expected to begin shortly.
