PSP Not Playing Nice with SDTVs

On October 9th, 2007 in Uncategorized -

Kotaku reports that gamers with standard defnition TVs are out of luck if they want to connect the PSP Slim to their units. Apparently, the new model of the handheld supports connections only via a D-terminal AV cable or component cables – UMD movies will work fine on SDTVs, but games won’t run unless the  TV support progressive scan.

So, if you want to play PSP games on your TV, make sure it accepts the right connections and that it supports progressive scan.
