Ubi Not Interested in SCi

Reuters reports that Ubisoft, the first company to approach SCi in a string of acquisition talks, is no longer interested in purchasing the Eidos-parent company. Apparently, it’s “too expensive a purchase,” according to one Ubi representative.
“Ubisoft has no intention of making an offer for SCI-Eidos,” he said. “We are looking at other opportunities for external and internal growth which can create more potential value for shareholders.”
It was previously revealed that the company is also in talks with Time Warner and an unnamed Chinese company.
