Brutal Legend Announced, Trailer
Heavy metal game Brutal Legend has officially been confirmed by Sierra Entertainment; it is the latest title from the mind of Tim Schafer, the guy behind Psychonauts. In development at Double Fine Productions for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will feature Jack Black as Eddie Riggs, the roadie of a metal band, pulled back in time to learn his true purpose.
“Holy crap!” exclaimed Schafer, “I have been dreaming about this day for fifteen years. And now it is finally here. We’ve gathered small clues over the years about the Age of Metal, in songs, t-shirts, and album covers. But now we have uncovered the metal mother lode, the full legend of what actually happened in that loud and heavy era, and we are the lucky ones who get to tell the tale.”
The game is due out sometime next year. The official website has gone up, as well as a trailer.
