While many companies are trying to push the limits and the boundaries of video game excellence, some are going for a much more simplistic approach. In particular is Empire Interactive who are putting together a classic assortment of board games to be played on the Wii, PS2 or PSP. Having already been a big success in the USA, this collection of twenty of the most well-loved board games will be released in Europe first quarter of 2008. The Wii version of the game implements the motion-sensing technology of the Wiimote to add a little more immersiveness to twelve of the games. Each game has its own trophy which players can unlock while competing against friends, family or computer opponents. Here’s the full list of games:
