Highly anticipated survival-horror game Dementium: The Ward has been shipped for the DS across North America today, according to an announcement by developers Renegade Kid and Gamecock. It is now available for $29.99.
“Even we are taken aback by how creepy Dementium has turned out, and we made the game!” said Jools Watsham, Creative Director for Renegade Kid. “I’m happy to say that we’ve exceeded our own expectations and created a game that sets new standards for handheld titles, as well as the horror genre.”
The game begins with players waking up in a derelict hospital with no memory of who they are or how they got there. Players are tasked with exploring the hospital and fend off horrific beings and find the answers themselves.
