To honor the men (and women) defending the US of A, Pixel Mine announced that it will be offering active United States military personnel and veterans up to a 20% discount on all items purchased through their online store. The studio has begun a closed beta for Fireteam Reloaded since Monday; the game is based around maps, character classes, weapons and other powerups that can be bought from their online store.

Michael Songy, Chief Technology Officer at Pixel Mine Games, whose brother serves in the U.S. Army, says, “We are proud to support the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. This is our way of saying thanks to a group of people that have dedicated themselves to serving our country.”

The discount will automatically apply to accounts that use a valid military email address. Those that qualify will see lower prices on items for the game and other future projects from Pixel Mine. The store itself will go live with the release of Fireteam Reloaded later this year.
