Wii Guitar Hero 3 Lacks Stereo, Surround Support

This thread on the official Guitar Hero forums claim that the Wii edition of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock does not output songs in stereo, but does so in mono, that is sending one channel signal to all speakers.
Interestingly, the Vicarious Visions-developed Wii version of the game’s Dolby Pro Logic II mode doesn’t work either – it only outputs through the center channel. An analysis by one of the forum members shows that left and right channels of some of the songs in the game are exactly the same. According to him, only the developer’s logo and crowd noises are in true stereo.
It appears that Activision Customer Support is aware of the issue and is currently looking into it, though no fixes have still been offered.
