It seems console development is the new rage with previous PC-only developers. Germany-based studio TGC (The Games Company) announced that it has obtained certification from Nintendo to develop on its consoles, which include the Wii and DS. The studio plans on releasing licensed products and commissioned productions for the consoles; it also aims on publishing these games by itself in Eurpean and Australian markets.

Also, keeping this in mind, TGC revealed that it is expanding its business activities in the coming fiscal year. The studio will announmce its first console titles early next year.
