With the oncoming wave of leagues like the MLG and the CPL, GameStop has hopped on board and announced that along with their traditional retail stores there will also be designated tournament areas. The first tournament themed store will be opening in San Jose, California and will feature 24 networked gaming stations with plasma screens to boot.

To kick off its entrance into the tournament scene, GameStop will be holding its first Madden tournament on December 15th with the winner receiving $1000 dollars in store credit.
