Another video game awards ceremony has come and gone. The Spike TV Video Game Awards didn’t have many surprises in store for viewers. Bioshock took home the biggest prize with the Game of The Year category. Super Mario Galaxy beat out the much more realistic and violent Assassin’s Creed and God Of War 2 for the Best Action Game category. Halo fans will be disappointed to note that the final chapter of the trilogy only took home two awards: Best Multiplayer Game and a Most Addictive Game category which was voted on by fans. There wasn’t a single console that dominated the awards as all but two games which won were multi-platform titles. Here’s the full list of nominees and winners:
