Hoping to milk the ever popular Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, Ubi has announced HoMM Kingdoms, a new web-based game set in the critically acclaimed series.

Set for release during Spring 2008, Kingdoms is a strategy game set in a persistent version of the franchise’s world. Thousands of players will be able to rule their virtual kingdoms, lead gigantic armies against each other, master trade or create legendary heroes. There won’t be any download or installation required, just a working internet connection.

An exclusive key for the beta test is hidden in the Heroes of Might and Magic Complete Edition that releases today. Interested parties can also register on this website.
