Bungie must have made, yet another, cart load of money from the Heroic Map pack, because they’re already giving some official hints at what the next download-content for Halo 3 might contain.

Naturally, it’s still far to early to get any specifics about what’s coming, but Bungie released some interesting tidbits none the less. To start with what the map packs might include, Bungie kept it rather generic stating that it’s likely that there will be “Symmetrical arena maps for competitive play”. so basically anything but a High Ground sequel. Then things become interesting. The next line states that a classic map will likely be making a comeback. Here’s hoping it’s a Bloodgulch/Coagulation remake.

After this cruel tease, there’s another vague hint stating that there could be “Crazy new stuff you never expected”. Maybe an Elephant that actually moves? The rest are similar secretive hints. Expect some new Forge items, unusual maps, as well as some form of “surprise”. We’ll provide more information as more information comes in.
