Often it seems that the video game world is plagued by companies unwilling to own up to their mistakes. EA has broken the trend by offering a bit of consolation for the unfortunate Rock Band owners whose guitars broke shortly after getting them out of the package. While they’re waiting for their replacement guitars to come, they can get their choice of one of many free games from the EA catalog. These aren’t second-string or outdated titles either. Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, The Simpsons Game and NBA Live 08 are just a few of the titles available. If you’re one of these slightly-less-unlucky-now few, make sure to submit your request before January 11th, when the offer expires.
