What started out as a highly anticipated video game has been in development for over ten years. Originally planning to use the Quake II engine, the game stalled for so long that it’s seen multiple generations of consoles without much real development at all. Many speak of the game’s potential to be the next ‘Daikatana’, having been much-hyped for years. After many anticipated release dates that came and went without so much as a demo, we’re getting yet another look at “Duke Nukem Forever”. Last night at the 3d Realms Christmas Party they showed their employees a brief teaser of the game which will be made available to the public today around noon (CST). This teaser will be the first video to be shown from the game in more than six years.
