Mass Effect Novel Takes Off Post-Game Events

Have you muddled your way through the entire Mass Effect game, reaching the climactic ending? If so, this is actually one of the few games whose novel would appeal to the gamers, as Mass Effect players obviously enjoy reading, or at least were able to put up with it.
The new novel called Mass Effect: Ascension takes place immediately after the final events in the game, and should fill in the blanks between it and the eventual sequel coming down the road. The new novel can be expected next summer, seeing as that’s traditionally a slow time for videogames, you have nothing better to do than read… or go outside, but we prefer not to mention such options.
