Nintendo Receiving Emmy

While many who consider themselves “hardcore gamers” disparage the simplistic controls of the DS and the Wii, there’s no doubt that they’ve made many sit up and take notice with the easy, enjoyable gameplay afforded by the engineers at Nintendo. The company is receiving its second Emmy award for excellence in engineering creativity for their work on the Wii and DS control schemes. The previous award they received was for the creation of the D-pad which was awarded only last year.
