Speaking to Reuters, Steve Schnur, worldwide head of music at the publisher, revealed that they are interested in bringing downloadable music to their other franchises like Madden and Skate. “That’s certainly something we’re interested in,” he said.

It’d certainly be interesting to see if they really begin offering new music for other EA titles. In related news, MTV has plans to expand its outreach to more artists, asking them to contribute music to Rock Band. They hope to release special packages from indie bands, among others, soon.
