Denied: Far Cry 2 PS3 Exclusive

I don’t know where people get such rumors from, but Ubisoft has confirmed to Videogamer that Far Cry 2 will not be a PS3 exclusive. Apparently the rumor started when reports suggested that the Xbox 360 version of the game had been binned when UK retailer GAME had removed it from its listings.
However, Ubisoft reiterates that the game will be out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, concluding that is “how it stands.” Far Cry 2 is scheduled for release during the company’s fiscal 2008-2009 year and takes place in a setting other than tropical islands.
