Word comes from 1UP that Rez HD will be downloadable from Xbox Live Marketplace next Wednesday, January 30, for 800 Microsoft points. The game is an update of the cult-classic musical shooter Rez; it is being developed by Q Entertainment.

It has been confirmed that Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi was heavily involved in the creation of the update, which adds surround sound and updated visuals, among other things. The original PS2 and Dreamcast versions were developed by United Game Artists, a now-defunct internal Sega studio.
