Bringing out proof that the PS3 is a graphics beast, Insomniac has released a couple of screenshots from Resistance 2, the upcoming sequel to their best-selling PS3 launch title. The game will be released this Fall with two campaigns – one supporting single-player and two-person local co-op, with the other allowing eight-player online co-op – 60 person online multiplayer, lots of new areas to explore as well as new baddies to kill with brand new weapons.

The first media depicts the Chimera uglies from the first game that have been updated, as well as behemoth tanks, among other things.
