Smash Bros. Selling Well In Japan, One Person Surprised
Some retail data has been leaked from Japan about the sales of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and there’s very little that should shock anyone. In the first day of sales over half a million copies flew off the shelves. Retailers sold out of 80% of their stock, which is an impressive figure when you compare it to the mere 20% sold by the highly rated Super Mario Galaxy. This isn’t a huge shock given the success of the Wii has been based on the social aspect of its games. With a bevy of popular characters and a new chapter of a massively popular franchise that offers four-player gaming with a plethora of different options to keep replay value high, there’s no surprise at all that Smash Bros. Brawl is doing incredibly well.
