Empire Interactive sent out word that it plans on bringing FlatOut Ultimate Carnage to the PC this June. The game was already released on Xbox 360 last year; word is series originator Bugbear Entertainment is working on the PC edition. The series has seen much success, selling more than 2 million copies worldwide.

“Research suggests that arcade racers are becoming ever more popular on the PC, with the Xbox 360 controller providing the perfect way to enjoy the genre,” said Ian Higgins, CEO of Empire Interactive. “Ultimate Carnage is an entirely new prospect for PC, and we’re excited to be bringing FlatOut’s unique gameplay experience to PC gamers everywhere.”

The PC version will feature the same content as the Xbox 360 version, but will also offer enhanced graphics and Carnage gameplay modes. A PSP edition of the game is also being made for release next month.
