Myst Sequel on DS?

According to Myst DS producer, Manni Granillo, the developer is considering bringing out its sequel Riven to the DS. Speaking to 4 Color Rebellion, Granillo said that they are considering the DS port of the Myst sequel, but that they need to work out how to get such a long game on the portable platform. They are considering multiple carts and episodic content, though nothing is confirmed yet.
The original Riven was released on PC during its golden ages – 1997. It came on five CDs and had incredibly high-end graphics for the period, which might make it difficult to port over to the DS.
