Ex-Marine Goes Missing After Call of Duty Induced Flashbacks
Ex-Marine, Eric W. Hall, disappeared a week ago and, according to his parents, is probably avoiding
being found. Three years ago, Hall was injured in a battle while serving in Iraq. During the same battle he witnessed his best friend’s death. Psychologically scarred, and partially disabled physically, the ex-marine has now been missing for a week after abruptly getting up and leaving his home and traveling on his motorcycle. The motorcycle was later found abandoned on the road.
Apparently, before he disappeared he was playing Call of Duty. His family thinks that it may have triggered flashbacks of the war, but the specific time between playing the game and leaving is not clearly stated. Whether it did for sure is uncertain at this point, though I’m not sure why he was playing any FPS in the first place, since he was shaken so much by his past war experiences. We hope that Eric’s family finds and returns him home soon.
