Ascaron Entertainment has released Speedball 2 Tournament, a remake of The Bitmap Brothers’ classic extreme sports simulation. The game has two heavily armored teams fight for possession of a steel ball; players take control of a brutal squad of athletes and punch their way through the opposition, using malicious tactics to win the game.

The remake features enhanced graphics, online multiplayer, various new teams, and community based gameplay through the Internet. A MP3 soundtrack of the game has also been released – it can be downloaded from Frogster’s website.
