EA Offering Refund for MoH Heroes 2

February 13th, 2008
mohh21192592196.jpgThose living down under in Australia might have been surprised to know that their purchased copy of Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for the Wii did not have the much-touted online multiplayer. They were further surprised when the presence of online multiplayer is mentioned quite a few times on the game’s instruction manual as well as the title’s official Australian website (though it has been removed now).

Publisher EA has looked into the situation and is offering a refund to those who return their copy of the game. Via IGN: “We made an error in the documentation and marketing materials. We are very sorry to have caused confusion for our customers. We will provide a refund to anyone in Australia who wishes to return the game to EA because of the lack of online functionality.”

No details were offered on the refund process; they also didn’t elaborate on why the multiplayer aspect was absent from the retail copy.
