Postal 3 Gets Dated

Developer Running With Scissors revealed at the Game Developers Conference that Postal 3 will be released in the second quarter of 2009 on PC and Xbox 360. They are also considering the other suspect – the PS3. “We are seriously considering PlayStation 3,” said Running With Scissors CEO Vince Desi. A publisher is yet to be attached with the project.
Being co-developed with Akella, the game marks the series’ first appearance on consoles, as well as featuring a third-person point of view. The first game was a top-down isometric shooter, while its sequel was a first-person shooter.
A feature film adaptation has been done by Uwe Boll and is awaiting release in movie theaters.
