Remember comments made by EA CEO that the company “blew it” by running its acquired studios into the ground? Lionhead studio head Peter Molyneaux has chimed in, saying that he was a bit of a ‘prat’ after the publisher acquired Bullfrog in 1995.

“I was a bit of a prat back then, to be honest,” he told 1UP. “To be fair, I think [EA] didn’t do anything bad. I was just very immature, and I was coming to terms with not having 30 of my friends but instead having 200 strangers around me. That was difficult, and I made life difficult for them.”

He admitted his mistakes, commenting that he should have made the environment similar to what made them “excel before” after his studio had been acquired. Molyneaux is currently working on Fable 2 and talking up big things about AI.
