User-generated Guitar Hero Content 5 Years Away

Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could make your own song (or port over songs from your favorite bands) and play them in Guitar Hero? Activision boss Bobby Kotick thinks so too, recognizing the fact that it is a “big, big deal” for a game like GH to have its own user-generated content, but says that such software is not available right now and won’t be so until at least another five years.
He offers, meanwhile, to bump up your skills to play in tournaments and for cash, which he calls the “evolution of the medium.”
