A free playable demo for Major League Baseball 2K8 is now available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo offers the chance to practice skills at Boston’s legendary Fenway Park by playing three full innings as either the Colorado Rockies or Boston Red Sox.

It also offers fans the chance to check out the game’s retooled pitching, batting, fielding and baserunning gameplay mechanics. The demo also features the title’s “Signature Style” animations and redesigned stadiums that showcase the detail and specific architecture of each city.

Major League Baseball 2K8 is now available on PS2, PSP, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
