To make sure gamers celebrate the coming Easter in style, Microsoft today sent out word that they will release Assault Heroes and DOOM on Xbox Live Arcade Hits this Wednesday. These titles can be found within the Xbox Live Arcade section of the new game store and will be available for 400 Microsoft points each.

Assault Heroes is a survival game, having the player search for a secret underground lab. it features both single and co-op modes. DOOM needs no introduction, being the legendary retro game that it is. The Xbox Live version adds 5.1 surround sound and smoother graphics.

Microsoft also announced the names of a couple of games that are coming soon to the service, including Rocky and Bullwinkle, Shotest Shogi, TiQal, Wits & Wagers and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.
