King’s Knight, Powerball on Virtual Console

232px-King's_Knight_Screenshot1 The latest additions to the Virtual Console library this week are King’s Knight and Powerball.

King’s Knight is a top-down shooter that was developed by Square and originally released on the NES. It features five stages, multiple characters and, most interestingly, a princess to save. It can be purchased for 500 Wii points.

Created by Namco, Powerball is described as a hybrid of football and rugby, with its publisher claiming it as a “brand new sport”. Originally released for the Sega Genesis, the game can be bought for 800 Wii points.
