Wii Fit Fitted For 90 Dollars

When Reggie said Wii Fit is being taken very seriously in the American market, and would be released for 100 dollars (unlike the already announced UK pricing, which is significantly higher), many just assumed they’d pull a stunt and just release it for 99 dollars, but it appears that a 10 dollar different may in fact exist, as Gamestop now has the title set for a 90 dollar price point.
That still puts the package a bit higher than similar products like Guitar Hero, but keep in mind the 70 dollar price tag includes a 20 dollar discount for buying the peripheral and software combined. We’ll have to see if Nintendo sells the balance board separately in the future, but given Wii remote pricing, we are probably dealing with another 40 dollar + peripheral and a 50 dollar game. It certainly could be worse.
