Savage 2 Goes Linux
Gamers more dorky than us Windows users will be able to partake in some Savage 2 action, as S2 Games today sent out word that they have released a Linux client of their free-to-play game. The original Savage was also released for the Linux and was a gem among the Linux gaming community.
“Linux gamers are a whole different crop of players,” said Marc DeForest, co-founder and lead designer of S2 Games. “They are tech savvy, out of the box thinkers who relish creativity and originality. That is one reason why the first Savage was such a hit with them. We couldn’t be more excited to invite them back to Newerth for some savage good times.”
The client can be downloaded and played for free from the game’s website.
