SOCOM: Confrontation Gets Dated

Chances are that if you owned a PS2 which was online-ready, be it the Network Adapter or the Slim Ps2, then you’ve probably played at least one SOCOM title.
Well the fun doesn’t stop there because SlantSix has announced that the latest SOCOM iteration, SOCOM: Confrontation, will hit stores September 16th. In lieu of this announcement Sony stepped in and announced that SOCOM.com has gone live. This community based SOCOM website is sure to include things like stats, clans, and more when it enters a more finished state.
Don’t get confused though, as this isn’t the PS3 version of SOCOM that Zipper Interactive has said to be working on. For more details regarding the PS3 SOCOM we will have to wait until a further date.
