Online Duel Game Based on The Witcher
Those who loved The Witcher will undoubtedly love waht CD Projekt has up its sleeves: a completely-free web-browser game based on its critically acclaimed action-RPG.
Dubbed The Witcher: DuelMail, the game is planned to go into open beta starting April 7; it is currently going through a closed beta, with a final version scheduled for release on May 9. It is centered around battles between two players digitally incarnated as one of three completely different character classes. Winning consecutive fights against other players will let the user gain experience which allows them to advance to higher levels of character development, as well as gaining new items and skills. Attacks can be queued up then sent as challenges to other players, who must create their own counter sequence in hopes of being the last one standing.
There will be a game ladder, as well as special events and regular updates to keep the game refreshing. Players will also be invite their friends via email.
