The poor gamers over in merry old England (and its neighbors) got royally screwed over with the pricing of Rock Band, though their consolation was that they would get exclusive music. Nope, that’s not the case anymore, as MTV Games has confirmed that the new tracks contained within the European edition of the band simulator will be released in North America as downloadable content for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

As revealed earlier, songs from the European edition include tracks from Blur, Oasis, Muse and Die Toten Hosen. No pricing details or a date has been given for the North American release of these songs, but if common sense prevails then these will be available starting May 22, the day Europeans get the game.
