Spellborn MMOG Delayed
Yet another delay for The Chronicles of Spellborn is being reported by Spellborn International, who reports that the MMORPG is now due in the autumn of this year, actually calling this release date an assumption. This comes after word that the game’s release was being pushed back to the second quarter of the year. They also report that the studio has found a “renowned” MMOG publisher to partner with and that it is the publisher, not the developer itself, that needs an additional six months to launch the game. The developer will use these six months to polish the game through more beta testing.
The developer will optimize and rework the network code, allowing the flow and performance of the gameplay to live up to general expectations. They will also lay the foundation to allow for quick expansion of the game, with new content and updates, once it is released.
