Hoping to “redefine the online multiplayer space,” the founders of Io Interactive and creators of popular game franchise Hitman today announced the formation of Reto-Moto, their new development company.

“We’ve seen the interactive online market develop significantly in the last 5 years. Fresh from the global success of ‘Hitman’ we think our new company Reto-Moto is well placed to capture commercial and creative advantage,” says David Guldbrandsen, Chief Technology Officer of Reto-Moto.

The studio has ambitious plans that include controlled expansion. It is keeping quiet on plans for its first product, but admits to talking with potential industry partners. “At this stage we have everything to play for,” Donnell confirms. “No conversation is closed to us.”
