Mortal Online Website Launched
The Mortal Online official website has gone live, revealing this upcoming MMORPG in the works at Star Vault. The site offers details about the project and various media including concept art and a teaser trailer.
The game appears to be powered by the Unreal Engine and will feature a fantasy setting (the trailer shows a glimpse of a dragon). A first-person MMORPG, Mortal Online will not feature any PvP zones, but will feature only an open realistic world where the player is free to choose his/her own path. It will feature real-time combat and will also make use of personal skills. Players will be able to set up their own house, or set up a guild to build a keep. With enough power, violence or diplomacy, players (as well as allies) will be able to rule an entire nation in-game.
Mortal Online is set for release in Summer 2009.
