splinter_cell_chaos_theory_003 Xbox Live director of programming Major Nelson revealed that Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System will be the latest additions to the Xbox Originals catalog come Monday, April 21.

The abovementioned games join the Xbox 360 service which allows original Xbox games to be played on the new console. Games already on the service include Dreamfall, Ninja Gaiden Black, Halo and Psychonauts. The games currently sell for 1200 Microsoft points ($15).

Stealth-action game Chaos Theory was developed by Ubisoft Montreal which would eventually go on to make other titles, including the recently released Assassin’s Creed. Swinging Ape Studios developed Metal Arms, which was the only game to have been released by them. The studio was eventually purchased by Blizzard and brought on board to work on Starcraft: Ghost, which is said to be no longer in development.
