Publisher Aksys Games today announced that From the Abyss, an action RPG developed by Japanese studio Sonic Powered, will be released in North America this Fall.

The game is set in the world of Rubenhaut, a huge place that is randomly generated at the start of each journey. Players will be able to customize their character using skill points and capture the souls of monsters to utilize enemy skills in battle. As expected from a DS title, the game will support local multiplayer via wireless for a two-player cooperative mode.
