Ubi Expanding Greatly

Next-gen reports that publisher Ubisoft is planning to expand its workforce by over 900 employees by the end of March next year. At a quarterly conference call last week, company executives said that its workforce would be expanded considerably in Singapore, India and China, where it has recently opened new studios; this will be in addition to already established development houses.
“Five hundred will go to the new studios, but there will also be 400 coming into the established studios,” said CEO Yves Guillemot. The company currently hires about 3600 people in a multitude of countries.
