MADD Takes Issue With GTA 4 "Drunk Driving"

It wouldn’t be GTA without some controversy now, would it? One of the first to step up to the plate is Mothers Against Drunk Driving, an organization that takes issue with “a game module where players have to drive drunk” as “drunk driving is a choice, a violent crime… not a game.”
It should be worthwhile to point out that there is no “drunk driving” mode in Grand Theft Auto IV. In fact, the game recommends that players take a taxi once drunk.
MADD, the acronym of the organization (an appropriate one, I should say), wants the game to be re-rated as an Adults Only title, and is also asking developer Rockstar to “consider a stop in distribution.”
