No Fable 2 Demo For You
If it’s left up to Lionhead’s head honco Peter Molyneux the world may never see a Fable 2 demo, although he gives some good reasons as to why that is so.
As quoted by Eurogamer at Microsoft’s Spring Showcase event in San Francisco, Molyneux went on to say that a demo really wouldn’t do the game justice. Noting that there are upwards of 70 new features in store for Fable 2, just introducing those alone would take anywhere from 10 to 15 hours, trying to compress that down into demo form would be near impossible.
Personally I would be satisfied with just being able to run around and swording down a few baddies, but I have to say that I respect Mr. Molyneux’s decision on refraining from a demo. That will just make the game that much better when it hits shelves sometime this holiday season.
