Letting aspiring villains try out their skills, Codemasters today released the Overlord: Raising Hell demo on the PlayStation Network today. The playable demo offers a sneak peek at the extra evil edition of the twisted fantasy game, allowing gamers to embark on a session of destruction in the once tranquil area of the Mellow Hills. The demo offers upgrades for the Minions, peasant intimidation and a showdown with the Guard Troll at the slave camp, offering a glimpse of the full game.

The full game, due out June 20, will let players have up to 50 minions and three minion types to choose from to conquer the game world’s five kingdoms. The PS3 edition features detailed visuals, 7.1 surround sound and feature additions, such as the new on-screen mini-map and more.
