Mass Effect Goes Gold for PC
BioWare has announced that its award-winning RPG Mass Effect has gone gold for PC and has entered manufacturing. The game is set for release in North America on May 28 and June 6 in Europe.
Fully optimized for PCs, the game, originally developed for Xbox 360, includes an enhanced heads-up display, high resolution visuals, an enhanced inventory system, optimized controls, individual squad control and a new decryption mini-game. It also features the “Bring Down the Sky” downloadable content for free, adding a further 30 minutes of gameplay.
Those who pre-order the game at EA’s online store will receive free bonus items from Dead Space, another upcoming EA title. These bonus items include a copy of the first issue of the Dead Space comic book and a Dead Space poster.
