_previews_pc_world-warcraft_world-of-warcraft-a What many MMO players don’t get is that botting is illegal and that running bots ruins the game for others. Blizzard recently took action on the creators of World of Warcraft bot Glider by suing them, claiming that the author of the bot has made $2.8 million from the software.

However, that wasn’t all. The company took further action on the bot’s users today, banning them permanently from the game. This has caused many frustrated cheaters to flood the bot’s forums, asking for their money back, but one post stood out from the rest.

“Blizzard just made the game better by excluding the people who ruin it,” wrote Glide user Sundruid. “I hope people learn from this and stop botting.”
